Terms & Conditions

Membership

  • Membership is available to individuals of all ages, subject to a suitability assessment.
  • A completed registration form and any relevant support information must be provided before attending.
  • Membership is non-transferable.

Attendance

  • Members are encouraged to book sessions in advance.
  • Sessions are subject to availability.
  • If unable to attend, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to allow another member to use the session.

Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are payable according to the selected membership plan.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
  • Membership may be suspended or cancelled if payments are not maintained.

Participant Support

  • Sensory Funzone is a social and recreational community space and does not provide clinical or therapeutic services.
  • Participants requiring one-to-one support should attend with their support worker, family member, or carer where appropriate.
  • Members must disclose any information relevant to their safety and participation.

Health & Safety

  • Members are expected to treat others, staff, and equipment with respect.
  • Behaviour that places others at risk or significantly disrupts the safety or wellbeing of the community may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.
  • Parents, carers, and support workers remain responsible for the participant’s medical information and emergency contacts.

 

Facility

  • While reasonable care is taken to maintain a safe environment, participation in activities is at the member’s own risk.
  • Any damage caused through deliberate misuse may incur repair or replacement costs.

Photography

  • Photos or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes only with prior consent.
  • Members may opt out at any time.

Membership Changes

  • Membership terms, fees, and operating hours may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

Cancellation

  • Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing at least 7 business days’ written notice before their next scheduled payment. If notice is received less than 7 business days before the next payment is due, the upcoming payment may still be processed, and the cancellation will take effect from the following billing cycle.
  • Membership fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
  • Founder Membership benefits are non-transferable and apply only while the membership remains active.

Additional

Unlimited attendance is subject to booking availability and fair use to ensure equitable access for all members.

Members are guaranteed a minimum of four sessions per week when booked in accordance with the booking policy.

Founder Members receive exclusive Founder benefits, including Sunday access (where applicable).
